Press Release – H&E Attorneys to Present at Review of Oil and Gas Law XXVII

August 15, 2012 – Three Hameline & Eccleston attorneys, including partner Zach Eccleston, will present their multi-jurisdictional paper Sizing Up Shale States: A Comparison of Mineral Law in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and North Dakota at the Dallas Bar Association’s Review of Oil and Gas Law XXVII on Friday, August 17.  The program, designed to provide a review of current oil and gas law, is sponsored by the Energy Law section of the DBA.

Sizing Up Shale States, available Here, provides a comprehensive comparison of the established and emerging laws affecting all areas of oil and gas production, including title issues, regulatory developments, and concerns during production.  The paper also provides insights on issues traditional development companies might not be familiar with, such as dormant mineral acts and laws governing competing development with other natural resources.  A review of the material to be presented is available Here.
